I am a huge mass of lumbering contradictions.  I struggle to understand the human condition, yet still make some of the same mistakes I always have.  I am alternately impulsive and cautious.  I want to be an adult, yet act childlike more often than not.  I kinda sorta want to be a girly-girl, yet my tom-boyishness rules most of the time.

I have a BA in English Lit / Creative Writing from Agnes Scott College and an MLitt in The Gothic Imagination from University of Stirling, Scotland.  They haven’t helped me land the perfect job – I don’t have it in me to play the corporate lackey – but they have given me a better sense of self. I work mostly to support my writing habit and to pay those pesky bills.

Above all I love to learn, which is why my hubs will most likely cover a multitude of topics.  Nothing is too big or too small to discover, explore, or learn about.

I currently live in South Florida, but since I suffer horribly from “itchy-feet” syndrome I’m sure I’ll be off to somewhere else sooner or later.  The only question is where?  Wanderlust is not a compulsion – it’s a way of life.
